Repeat prescriptions

A Repeat Prescription is for medication, which your GP expects you to need to use on a long-term basis.  When stable on your medication you do not need to be seen each time your medication runs out.  In order to maintain this system, your GP will add items to a “repeat list” which means you can request the items you require and our Reception Team will prepare the prescription for signing by your Doctor.

We require 72 working hours notice that you need medication.  A box is provided in the entrance porch in which to place your request slip.  Any items in the box before 1pm, will be ready for collection after 2pm, three working days later.

For safety reasons we are unable to take requests over the phone.  If you are unable to place your request in person, you can order via fax on: 01446 733190 or by sending a SAE with your request, and your prescription will be posted back to you.  Please click the following link to request your medication online https://courtroad.gpsurgery.net/services/repeat-medication-order-form/

We recommend registration with My Health Online which provides patients with access online to order repeat medication items.  Details of this are provided on the home screen.

All patients on repeat medication should have an annual medication review and you will be notified when this is due.
