Alcohol Awareness

There is no completely safe limit for drinking alcohol and drinking even low amounts of alcohol increases the risk of diseases like cancer. The Doctors in this practice advise that to keep the risk from alcohol low, adults should not regularly drink more than 14 units of alcohol per week.

17% of adults (16+ years) in Wales are drinking above the recommended guidelines.  If you are worried you are drinking too much and need support, you can self refer to Cardiff and Vale Drug and Alcohol Service (CAVDAS)
